Three years ago, we stumbled upon Silver Plume in our own ways. We couldn’t have imagined then, as four friends, that we would come to buy and operate the bar—but since the very beginning, we’ve been aligned on the reasons why we love it, why we’ve always been drawn to it. Silver Plume is our slice of respite, and at the same time, our place of greatest connection. We know it is for so many of you, our patrons, too. We feel so lucky to be part of this community, and we couldn’t have done it without you: the friends who make the trek to the bar from near and far.

Last summer, we took on another Silver Plume project: Bread House, a Victorian built in 1879 that was once nicknamed The Wedding Cake House, and at one point, the Blanton House, after a local miner. It’s another way we’ve been able to put our roots down, and we want to share it with you—our loyal friends and patrons.

We want Bread Bar to be a constant. In this unprecedented, disorienting crisis, we’ve put together a few ways for us to look forward to the times ahead, when we can meet again once more under the BREAD sign.

Please consider investing in our future in a big or small way—from a future bar tab to a weekend stay at Bread House—finally ready for its debut—just a block away from the bar.
