2024 BREAD BAR HIRING

Bread Bar is a special place. It’s a destination for Coloradans and tourists—it’s even a place where lovers say ‘I do.’ A beautiful guest experience—and hospitality for all—is foundational to our bar service at Bread. We believe in delicious beverages made with thoughtfully-sourced ingredients and spirits, crafted and served by the finest bartenders we know. As we finish renovations this spring, we seek several new hires to join the 2024 Bread team. Our bar is only open on the weekends with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday service and our team is very small (but mighty!).

POSITION - BARTENDER(S) - $15/HOUR + TIPS

(EXPECTATION OF 8 HOUR SHIFTS)

Duties

  • Receive orders from patrons

  • Prepare and serve signature cocktails, call drinks, beer, wine, and N/A drinks as ordered

  • Ensure that fruit and other garnishes are prepared and stocked

  • Maintain bar is cleaned and organized

  • Check customer identification and confirms legal drinking age

  • Collect money from customers for all drinks prepared and served

  • Use proper judgment to serve (and not serve) patrons who are imbibing

  • Communicate with Bar Captain on shift notes, inventory needs, and staffing hours

POSITION - BAR LEAD - $1,000 MONTHLY

(EXPECTATION THAT BAR LEAD WOULD BARTEND FREQUENTLY. BAR LEAD POSITION PAID SEPARATELY)

Ordering & Inventory

  • Manage all ordering for beer, liquor, wine, mixers, and supplies for the bar.

  • Ensure the kitchen, storage, and cellar areas are organized efficiently and that all inventory and supplies are easy to find for the Bread Bar Team.

Staff Management 

  • Schedule all bartender shifts for operating hours and for any relevant private events

  • Hire new bartenders to ensure we have a solid roster that can work at least a shift or two a month

  • Conduct training for bartenders to support each of them are able to operate independently and at a high standard

  • Ensure all staff are aware of health code protocols

  • Conduct regular communication with the entire Bread Bar team for quality standards and that any necessary information is being passed along

Finances & Admin

  • Confirming bartender hours and tips on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Manage basic maintenance tasks like scheduling repairs, audio, etc

  • Communicate regularly with owners on any needs and wants as they come up
